Dear colleagues and friends,
The Organizing Com mittee of the ICG-18 is honored to announce that the 18th Annual Meeting of the International Conference on Genomics (ICG-18) is scheduled to be held from April 12 to 27, 2023, respectively in Beijing and many other cities in China, as well as in Singapore.
The ICG-18 will continue to promote the Spirit of the Human Genome Project (HGP), i.e. “Owned by All, Done by All, Shared by All”, and advocate global cooperation and sharing with all humankind, facilitates international cooperation among developing nations in particular.
We will retrospect and celebrate many high-light moments in the history of life sciences, such as the 20th Anniversary of the completion of the HGP; the 70th Anniversary of the discovery of the DNA double helix structure；the 80th Anniversary of lectures on the “WHAT IS LIFE”; and others.
Because many cities have actively applied to host the Annual Meeting, the ICG-18 will successively set up venues in Zhangjiajie, Beijing, Nanjing, Wenzhou, Chongqing, Wuhan, Hangzhou, as well as Singapore.
The 10 themes of the ICG-18 would cover Omics & Precision/Regenerative Medicine; Global Biodiversity & Biobanking; The Earth/Ocean Biogenome Projects; Spatiotemporal Omics and Synthetic Biology; AI in Digital & Biological Century; Olympic Spirit, Exercises and Health; Forensic Science and Biosafety; Public & Vocational Education in Life Sciences; Women & Youth in Life Science; Regional Development of Life Sciences & Bioindustry in Central/East/Western/Northeast China, and others.
