Ethics, AI and Regenerative Medicine
18:00-20:30
This international symposium on ethics in AI and regenerative medicine brings together researchers from more than seven nations and a wide range of academic disciplines to discuss the ethical challenges created by the use of big data and AI in regenerative medicine. The symposium will focus on data privacy, informed consent, and fair access to AI-driven therapies. It will also examine intellectual property concerns, funding mechanisms, and potential conflicts of interest as they pertain to the commercial viability of AI and regenerative medicine. Participants will be provided with critical policy indications and recommendations to help them make ethical decisions in the emerging fields of AI and regenerative medicine. The symposium's goal is to give policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders with actionable assistance for the development and implementation of AI-driven regenerative medicines by drawing on the interdisciplinary insights and perspectives shared by attendees. The style of the discussion will be a moderated conversation, beginning with a series of short inputs and followed by a general exchange of thoughts.
