Course introduction: each species has its own unique genome. What are genes and how can theinformation in the genome be obtained through extraction and sequencing? Thistopic mainly leads students to explore the mysteries of life from theperspective of genome extraction, sequencing and analysis.
Course objective: guide students to understand the concepts ofgenome and gene sequencing, master some basic principles and applications ofDNA extraction, improve their interest in biology and broaden their horizons.
Course contents: agarose gel preparation, fish DNA extraction and identification.
